Since its establishment in 2004, eLINIA has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention and reduction of pollution, waste and carbon dioxide emissions.

Seventy per cent of eLINIA’s four data centres around the UK are currently powered by renewable biomass energy sources.
 
This ethos is also visible at eLINIA’s Cardiff headquarters where we rely entirely on energy from renewable sources.
 
In taking this strategy forward for the maximum benefit of eLINIA customers, we are currently working with a number of public and private sector organisations.
 
This includes working with SciSys, a supplier of software services, to host the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme, regulated by the Environment Agency in England and Wales.  SciSys’ developed solution provides online registration for customers enabling organisations to submit annual reports on their carbon performance online.
 

eLINIA is also working with all our data centre providers to ensure that power usage effectiveness is at its optimum.
