eLINIA achieves Investors in People award

eLINIA Webservices Ltd have been awarded Investors in People status following a visit by the standards assessors in August 2011.

A total of 17 people were interviewed from all levels of the organisation and were asked to give their views on working for eLINIA. The assessor was looking to identify particular strengths, values, knowledge sharing and good practices as well as each individuals thoughts on working for the company.

On completion of the assessment, assessor Mel Davies made no hesitation on recommending us to the Welsh Assembly Government to receive Investors in People status.

The completed report highlighted eLINIA’s key strengths which included:

  • Strong and respected leadership from the CEO and the directors.
  • A clear vision for improvement through the performance targets and processes
  • A management style which is inclusive, supportive, empowering and which encourages individual contributions.
  • Rewards and recognition for people at all levels
  • Learning and development opportunities for people at all levels
  • A culture of continuous improvement
  • Communication and the sharing of information
  • A strong team culture and ethos of collaboration and support

Mel Davies, IIP Assessor said: ‘I found little that needed improving as you already demonstrate several areas of strength and good practice that exceed the requirements of the IiP core framework’  so much so he has suggested at the next review we should consider going for the Bronze, Silver or Gold Award.

eLINIA Webservices – Officially a great place to work!
