eLINIA grows workforce for increasing demand

eLINIA has almost completed its recruitment campaign in light of the increased demand for its managed hosting services.

The recruitment strategy has seen the arrival of several new staff across a number of departments and roles, the most notable area being the development of the marketing and sales team to deal with the rising number of enquires and referrals for new business.

Dai Jones has joined the group in the position of Account Director. Francesca Baggett is a new addition to the sales team in the role of Sales and Marketing Executive. Paul Streets has come on board as the new Service Delivery Manager and Rhodri Hampson-Jones has become eLINIA's new Change Management and Project Delivery Manager.

Dai , who will be based in eLINIA's new London office,  has 25 years experience of the IT industry including 16 years Sales and Sales Management experience. Dai has worked for industry giants including Sun, Oracle, Computacenter and VERITAS and have extensive experience of data centre management and automation technologies.  His role in eLINIA will be to manage the key account relationships, in particular the significant affiliation with BT, and to develop new partnership opportunities to drive new revenue streams.

Francesca, who has come over from Atkins Ltd, a large design and engineering consultancy, will work as part of the sales team looking after the bidding process and provide graphic design support in relation to marketing/bidding literature.

Paul joins eLINIA with an extensive background in Service Delivery, service desk operations and best practice such as ITIL. Paul has worked in conjunction with a wide range of companies including Spring Group, Oracle UK, National Grid, FIS Software, Scottish Widows and AXA Sun Life. Paul will be overseeing the service desk, delivery of high quality services to our clients and continual service improvement.

Rhodri joins eLINIA from BT Operates DCCS (Data Centre Control Services) Work Allocation Team, which approves and administers Planned Changes within BT Operates IDC infrastructure.  Rhodri’s responsibilities are to ensure that the Change Management process and structures are suitable, efficient and complying to the industry standards. He will also ensure changes are administered correctly, quickly and safely to protect existing infrastructure and customer platforms, and to ensure that new and existing platforms are implemented or upgraded within agreed timescales.

Justin Lewis, Operations Director at eLINIA commented, "The new appointments come in light of the organisations drive to grow the business and also come in response to the increased demand for our services.  Despite the economic downturn eLINIA has seen an increase in enquires and sales for our managed hosting and application services as companies identify that they can cut overall IT costs, whilst actually improving IT effectiveness and efficiency by outsourcing to a managed services specialist.  Not only are we investing in staff to grow the business but we have seen some significant appointments that will further increase the level of service our existing clients will receive"

eLINIA is still looking to fill the vacancy for a Operations Bridge Technician, if this position is of interest please contact us at enquiries@elinia.com for more details.
