During the design and implementation stage, eLINIA will:
- Work with your IT teams to design the right infrastructure solution to meet your requirements (what is the application going to do? eLINIA has experience of providing the right infrastructure platform to meet specific application requirements - let us know early on in the process - the sooner we are involved, the sooner we can provide valuable input),
- Help you choose between our secure hosting network to deploy your dedicated servers behind (this is a security tested, fully resilient infrastructure, with security mechanisms built in) and your own bespoke security and network implementation,
- Procure (or you can, if you prefer) best of breed hardware from industry standard suppliers,
- Install, and fully test, the solution against the agreed design, and
- Help you to install your application and services.
When the service goes live, eLINIA will:
- Actively monitor all of the vital components making up the services, from our secure, UK based operations centre,
- Intervene as required to ensure any hardware or software problems are resolved before they affect service,
- Let you speak to a technical person really quickly if required. We use a "pod" structure - this is a dedicated, multi-disciplinary, experienced team who will ensure your overall service, which may comprise different types of server and network platform, is effectively and comprehensively managed.
- Backup all of your system and application data, and patch the systems when required as security updates becoming available,
- Manage databases and applications (if you want us to), along with the server operating system,
- Maintain quality records (to help us, and also so we comply with ISO9001, ISO27001 and ITIL requirements),
- Give your IT teams secure remote access to your services at all times, to review or amend your application environment (unless you ask us not to),
- Not charge you for every small change you may need to amend aspects of the service.
